FORT SMITH, Ark. — The Fort Smith Police Department (FSPD) has identified the suspect allegedly connected to over two dozen thefts and vehicle break-ins this month.
A release from FSPD said there were at least 25 break-ins reported between June 9 and June 11.
The police department had previously reported a rash of break-ins around that time, primarily at hotels and apartment complexes.

A release from FSPD said there were at least 25 break-ins reported between June 9 and June 11.
The police department had previously reported a rash of break-ins around that time, primarily at hotels and apartment complexes.
The release encourages residents to remove valuables from vehicles and to lock doors, as well as report suspicious behavior. Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is urged to call police at 479-709-5000.
Additionally, tips submitted to Fort Smith Crime Stoppers at 78-CRIME could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
